Amit Shah, who is MlA from Naranpura Assembly constituency in Ahmedabad on Thursday not only attended the House after a gap of almost two years but took part in the proceedings.
Even in the House the BJP president didn’t miss the opportunity to train his guns on the Opposition Congress party by criticising members of Opposition party for creating ruckus in the House.
“Congress leaders need to understand elections are being won by winning people’s heart and not by creating ruckus in the House.
Because of such attitude, Congress is out of power in the State since 1990,” he said while supporting a resolution brought by his party’s MlA Ketan Inamdar to take forward the development agenda of the saffron party.
Shah gave speech in the House after the Congress members staged walkout over MB Shah Commission report. Expressing confidence on winning impending Assembly polls in Gujarat in 2017 as well as 2019 lok Sabha polls, he said that BJP’s agenda of development would continue in the State as well as across the nation.
