In a bid to make Delhi BJP's team more efficient and media savvy, a major reshuffle was effected by the Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Wednesday.
Tiwari appointed new faces to head Social- Media department to RTI cell and for interaction with the visitors at Delhi BJP. Neelkant Bakshi will the co-convener of the social media unit along with Pratyush Kanth. Journalist turned politician Kanth will take charge of social media and IT cell. Kanth who contested from Kirari Assembly seat on Congress ticket in 2015 polls, had joined BJP in October last. “I will work with utmost dedication to further the cause of BJP and spread its social outreach”, Kanth said.
Manohar lal will head the Cooperatives cell, Dr Anil Goel will be incharge of medical cell while Vinod Sehrawat will handle the OBC morcha , Gulshan Guglani will handle business department and Dr Ashok Goel will handle RTI department.
Tiwari has removed Mahesh Verma as head of media department. Neel Kant Bakshi has been made the co-incharge. Verma had shortest tenure in Delhi BJP office.
