Not taking any chance with the security of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the district administration has thrown a tight security cover during his visit to the city on Thursday. The Chief Minister is scheduled to address a rally at Ramlila Ground, Kavi Nagar, the same day.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Akash Tomar, 17 Additional SPs, 33 Deputy SPs, 80 inspectors, six women inspectors, 306 sub inspectors, 28 women sub inspectors, 1,500 constables and head constables, 150 women constables, five companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary will be posted in and around the Ramlila ground.
Around 2,500 police personnel will keep an eye on the security arrangements during the CM’s visit.
The deployment of the forces at the public meeting venue in Ramlila Ground and meeting with the officers at CBI academy would remain the same.
In addition to that a team National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF), local Intelligence Unit, anti mining squad, two ambulances and two drones would maintain the vigil to meet any eventuality, the SP City said.
The CM will also lay the foundation stone of a rest house meant to house Mansarovar pilgrims at Shakti Khand (V) in Indirapuram.
Earlier the land was earmarked near the Haj House but the district administration changed the venue after it came to know that the proposed venue near Haj House was a lake and part of Hindon river flood plain.
