The leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, said that Home Minister Rajnath Singh has handed over investigation of the life threats he has been receiving, to the Intelligence Bureau.
The Press note stated that Home Minister has directed the IB chief to thoroughly investigate the matter immediately on the complaint.
The statement further read, “Gupta had met the Union Home Minister in the matter of threats being received by him. Gupta had submitted written details to the Home Minister about the threats. The loP told the Union Minister that from the day he has been exposing black deeds, criminal activities, scams, etc. of the Kejriwal Government in Delhi, before the people, the Delhi Government is very unhappy with him. He is receiving threats through international and national calls not to speak against AAP or to be ready to face the consequences. An effort was made to attack his vehicle by following him.”
