Ruling Samajwadi Party legislator from Biswa (Sitapur) Rampal Yadav, who attacked a team of lDA and police alongwith his kin and supporters to prevent the demolition of his illegal building in Jaiamau on Thursday, was sacked from the party for six years for sullying the image of the party.
After arresting him and aides, the lucknow Police produced him before CJM lucknow, who sent the MlA, his son and eight supporters to 14 day judicial custody.
SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhry said that keeping in line with zero-toerance on indiscipline, the party acted agains the erring legislator as his conduct was giving a bad name to the party.
Meanwhile in Sitapur on Friday, the district authorities too demolished the Sparsh Hotel owned by Rampal Yadav for constructing it without getting the map approved and not changing the land use.
However, Sitapur District Panchayat Chairman Jitendra Yadav, who happens to the MlA's son, alleged that the government was acting in vindictive manner against his family.
"All the papers of our properties at Sitapur and in lucknow are in order but the district authorities are not even ready to examine them," he said.
ADM, Sitapur, Sarvesh Kumar contradicted the claim saying that they have the powers to demolish the illegal building as there was no stay from court.
Rampal Yadav earned the ire of the ruling SP after he revolted against the leadership and fielded his son Jitendra in teh District Panchayat polls and ensured his win, much to the chagrin of SP brass.
Yadav backed by four other SP MlAs of Sitapur were suspended for anti-party activities but the order was later revoked before the Budget session of the Assembly.
