Valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh were burgled a doctor’s apartment at Aleena Apartments under Kolar police station area on Saturday.
According to the police the victim Dr. Megha Soni had gone to work and when she returned in the evening locks were found broken and on entering the house the valuables were found missing.
A complaint was lodged with the Kolar police and in the complaint victim claimed that when she returned from work on Friday the locks were found broken and the house was ransacked. The almirah were found broken and the valuables were missing. A pair of gold ear rings, a gold pendant, two gold finger ring and Rs 30000 cash were found missing.
The total loss in the burglary is around Rs 1.70 lakh claimed the victim.
The victim works with Noble hospital and was at the hospital when the burglary was committed and on her return she found that the house was ransacked.
The security guard would be questioned which could help in the further investigation, told the police.
The police have registered a case under section 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh were burgled from Padmanabh Nagar under Aishbagh police station area on Saturday.
According to the police the victim Satendra Pawar had gone to Nagpur on February 24 and when he returned on Saturday the house was found ransacked.
In his complaint the victim claimed that he had gone to his mother’s funeral in Nagpur and on when he returned the house was found ransacked.
Victim claimed that a lCD TV, gold and silver jewelries worth Rs 1.5 lakh were found missing.
The victim works with Sonali Regency hotel as floor manager.
The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
