In order to improve quality of administration, the State Government has promoted eight inspectors as deputy SPs in the State. The DSPs have also been transferred on Saturday. The police officers who were promoted as deputy SPs are Parikshit Kumar, Harish Mehra, Pankaj Gairola, Dinesh Chandra Dhondriyal, Diwani Ram Arya, Rajan Ram Arya, Kamal Ram Arya and Mohammad Fateh. Inspectors Diwan Ram Arya and Mahendra Singh Rawat who were promoted as Deputy SPs would retire on July 31.
DSP Prakshit Kumar has been transferred to Tehri. Harish Mehra has been transferred to Udham Singh Nagar while Pankaj Gairola to Dehradun, Dinesh Chandra Dhaundiyal to Nainital, Dinwan Ram Arya to Udham Singh Nagar, Rajan lal Arya to Pauri, Kamal Ram Arya to Nainital and Mohammad Iqbal Fateh to Intelligence headquarters. Ajay Dhyani has been transferred to IRB-I, Ramnagar from Tehri, Mahesha Nand has been transferred to vigilance from Nainital. lokjeet Singh has been transferred to Nainital from Udham Singh Nagar. Harbans Singh has been transferred to Dehradun (Traffic) from Nainital.
