UPCl okays upgradation of some power sub-stations

Uttarakhand Power Corporation limited (UPCl) officers have approved upgradation of some power sub-stations at some places while new sub-power stations will be opened in the State.

Things were decided at the 77th meeting of director division at UPCl held on Thursday.

The opening of power sub- stations at lathardeva, Roorkee, Deghat and Bhikiyasain was approved which would have estimated cost of around Rs 10.38 crore. The capacity of 1/3 MVA power sub-station, which is under construction, will be upgraded to the capacity of 2/3 MVA at Sankari, Uttarkashi.
