Ujjain Dairy Federation will sell its milk products on no-profit, no-loss during Simhastha at Ujjain from April 22 to May 21. The federation has already started its 94 Sanchi Parlours in Mela areas where milk, curd, butter, cheese, peda, lassi, chhachh etc are being sold. The federation has decided to open 106 parlours in Mela area.
The federation has estimated that daily demand for milk products during Simhastha will be 60,000 litres. Against this, a plan has been chalked out to supply 10 lakh litres milk daily. These days, Ujjain plant of the dairy federation is receiving 3 lakh litres of milk daily. Routes to supply milk to parlours in Simhastha Mela area have been identified and adequate number of vehicles will be available.
AYUSH Department has been looking after health of saints and seers in Akhadas for last one and half months. The department will assume its responsibility with full staff in Mela area from April 10. For this, 270 staff members from all over the state will be posted at Ujjain. Arrangements of 2 ambulances have also been made for Ayurvedic treatment.
Arrangements for lodging of government staff from outside Ujjain for Simhastha have been made at 89 schools. All basic amenities will be available at these schools. Basic amenities have also been developed in 34 schools on Panchkroshi Marg. These schools will be acquired from April 5. Training to government staff for Simhastha has been completed in 2 phases.
