The Communist Party of India (CPI) organised a symposium on the occasion of the birthday of martyr Bhagat Singh on the topic , ‘Importance of Bhagat Singh’, at its State headquarters, Shakir Sadan, on Wednesday.
Roop Singh Chouhan chaired the symposium and Shailendra Kumar Shaily conducted the symposium. The chief guest of the symposium senior employees’ leader Govind Singh Asiwal appealed to oppose capitalism and fascism with the ideology of Bhagat Singh.
Singh said that Bhagat Singh was a communist. Karl Marx and Vladimir lenin were the ideals of Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh was inspired by the Soviet revolution. Bhagat Singh was reading the biography of lenin before he was hanged. Bhagat Singh had raised the slogan ‘inquilab zindabad’ before he was hanged. Bhagat Singh wanted to establish a new revolutionary system, he added.
Roop Singh Chouhan said that revolution could only occur on the basis of the thoughts of Bhagat Singh in India. Senior employees’ leader SR Galfate said, “It is necessary to propagate the thoughts of Bhagat Singh among the young generation.”
RN Prasad said, “Bhagat Singh has given the message to oppose the capitalism and establish the harassment-free society.”
Ml Satpute said, “Bhagat Singh had provided the direction to the freedom movement by raising the slogan ‘inquilab zindabad’ and he also developed the movement.”
AK Parihar said, “Development of the revolutionary tradition is a true tribute to Bhagat Singh.”
Ramharsh Patel said that the agitation against the ‘varna’ system and racism is possible on the basis of the revolutionary thoughts of Bhagat Singh.
CPI leader Nawabuddin, DR Banchor, Gulaam Rasool, Nandkishore Sharma, Shivratan Agrawal, Shankar Rao Bhadoria, Sher Singh, Chain Singh, Narendra Sharma and other CPI office-bearers were present.
