Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School and labour Deepak Joshi distributed stipends to working women of ward 45, 48, 49, 50 and 51.
These women were imparted training in Household Assistant Trade by the CRISP under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Kaamkaji Mahila Kalyan Yojna. Joshi distributed cheques of Rs 2,000 each to 254 trained women.
Joshi said that new appliances are being used in the kitchen and training is needed for it. He added that the trained working women will get more salary and they need not roam to search for work. They will be contacted by the people who wish to employ them.
Joshi said that the working women shoulder responsibilities of houses as mother and sister. They are the most expected persons in the houses.
Moreover, Joshi said that in order to honour women, Ujjawala Yojna and ladli laxmi Yojna are launched in the state. Free gas connections are being distributed to the women living below the poverty line.
He informed that in case of delivery, Total 45 days labour is being paid to the woman under the Mukhyamantri Mazdoor Suraksha Yojna.
MlA Surendra Nath Singh said that training to the women given by DUDA and CRISP is praiseworthy.
In an official statement CRISP informed that women were imparted training on cooking, dusting, mopping and 10 other skills. Trained women also shared their experiences on the occasion.
