The School Education and literacy Department recently issued a communiqué to all the District Education officers (DEOs) and District Superintendent of Education (DSEs) in the state to take strict action against the school teachers responsible for poor performance of students in intermediate science stream.
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared the results of intermediate science and commerce stream a month ago, the results clearly depicts the slackness on teachers’ parts on imparting science education to the kids studying in government schools across the state. In the letter it was mentioned that all the DEOs will compile reports after notifying the teachers of their respective districts. Teachers must state appropriate reasons for the failure. The final report will be presented to the DC and accordingly action will be taken on the matter against the teachers who are found non-serious.
