Science Express will arrive at Bilaspur railway station of Chhattisgarh on Sunday. This train will halt till February 2, 2016, for common people to visit, an official statement informed on Saturday.
In this train, various models have been showcased, which reflects climatic changes. Experts of the subject will also be available in train to explain students about the models. This exhibition is informative for teachers and students of schools and colleges, and also for common people.
Along with the exhibition, various other activities such as games-quiz, essay competition, group discussion, debates etc will also be organized for school and college students.
It is noteworthy that this Science Express-Climate Change Special Train of 16 coaches was flagged off by Government of India’s Environment Forest and Climatic Change Minister Prakash Javadekar, Rail Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu and Science and Technology Minister Dr Harshvarshan, from Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi on October 15 last year.
This train will travel nearly 19,500 km and halt at 64 railway stations to create awareness about the cause among the common people.
