Child scientists presented their research papers and models on the second day of 24th National Children’s Science Congress- 2016 here on Monday. Bansal Group’s Treasurer Pooja Bansal discussed with the children about their models.
The Children’s Science Congress is being organized by the Science Centre organization, Gwalior with the collaboration of National Council for Science and Technology Communication, New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal.
Vartul Shrivastava of Ujjain has prepared a project on ‘aquaponics’ in which fishes and plants are surviving together. The plants are growing without the soil in water while the fishes are also living in that water.
Child scientist of Dhar, Narayan Solanki has prepared a NDS kitchen queen stove for his mother, who is physically disabled. He has installed a special timer in the stove, which itself drops the essential spices in the food and its buzzer starts ringing when the food gets cooked.
Sandeep of Shajapur has made a tractor by using the scraps. This is a good way to utilize the scraps as well the tractor would be very beneficial in agriculture.
Harda’s Balram Billore has presented a model, which could convert the solar energy into several other energies. This model could be helpful in producing electricity, preparing food and running engines.
Teachers’ training was also conducted on the second day of the science congress. Scientist Shajapur’s OP Patidar and Khandwa’s Hemlata Paliwal explained the scientific reasons behind various magical tricks.
Praveen Tamot and Vipin Vyas along with several professors of Barkatullah University, Excellence College, Nutan College and other colleges evaluated the projects of the child scientists.
