Rare species of lizards found in Bhoramdev Sanctuary

Rare species of lizards have been found in the Bhoramdev Wildlife Sanctuary in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh during the recent survey by a team of Nova Nature Welfare Society.

The species have been sent to Zoological Survey of India in Kolkata for their identification and further research, officials informed.

The lizards were found in three locations of the district. The lizards found are believed to be non venomous.
