On the Martyr’s day, several programmes were organised in the city to pay homage to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee president Arun Yadav paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Satna district Congress office. In his speech he specifically urged to follow the footsteps of the Father of the Nation.
The homage was also paid state Congress office in Bhopal. In the programme KK Mishra, JP Dhanopiya, Ravi Saxena, Vibha Patel, Kunal Choudhry, Ashwini Bhargav, Deepchand Yadav, Guddu Chouhan, Ajay Singh Chouhan, Durgesh Sharma, Aanand Taran, Sajid Ali, Ashok Jain ‘Baba’, lokman Kushwaha, Jitend Singh Bagel, Balwant Sakya, Ibrahim Qureshi, Abdul Raseed, Muinudeen Siddiqui, Noor Beg, Ravishakar Pandey, Prashant Gurudev, Shahvar Alam, Ram Sharan Rana, Uday Veer Singh and a number of leaders and party workers were present.
In Satna the programme was attended by Chandrika Prasad Divedi, Ajay Chourey, Maksood Ahmad, Urmila Tripati and a number of leaders and party workers.
Besides, the activists of the ‘Rashriya Jagaran Manch’ pledged on fulfilling the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi to create a clean India at the Martyr’s Memorial Bhopal gate.
On this occasion while paying homage the State in charge of the Manch Kameshwar Sharma said that this organization had been working against corruption and other social issues for past seven years and cleanliness is one of the main agenda on its list.
