The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-2016 results were announced on Monday. Anshuman Mishra topped among candidates for MTech course, Amiya Ghose stood first in MPharm, Shadab Anwar in MBA, Barsha Priyadarshini Bhatt in MCA, Amrita Singh BArch and Haripriya Nayak in Pharmacy.
A total of 46,187 candidates had appeared at the OJEE held on May 8. Counselling of successful candidates would take place from the first week of July, said OJEE Chairman Tushar Kant Nath. Candidates can download their rank cards from the OJEE website http://www.ojee.nic.in.
“Students can download their rank cards by entering the roll number and date of birth. If they have any grievances, they can send an e-mail or call us so that we can take necessary steps based on that,” informed Nath.
Successful students can take admission in courses such as pharmacy, homoeopathy, ayurveda, master’s in computer application (MCA), business administration (MBA), PGDM, PGCM, PGDM (executive) and master’s programme in engineering, technology, architecture and pharmacy and second year in engineering, architecture, pharmacy and MCA under the lateral entry scheme.
Admission into MCA, MBA, MTech, BPharm and PGDM/PGCM courses would also be on the basis on OJEE.
This year too, engineering (BTech) and medical (MBBS) were not a part of OJEE as Odisha joined the national level JEE (Main) for undergraduate engineering admission and All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) for admission in medical colleges.
