The Ganjam Ayush Doctors’ Association, the Doctors’ Forum and the Odisha Government Ayurveda Doctors’ Association celebrated lord Dhanvantari’s birthday as the National Ayurveda Day on Friday.
An awareness bike rally with the photo of lord Dhanvantari, placards and slogans was held from the Ayurveda Hospital to the Shashibhushan Rath Women’s College in the city. BDA Chairman Subash Chandra Moharana inaugurated the rally.
Dr Saroj Kumar Nayak, ADMO (Medical Dr Saroj Kumar Mishra, Anant Tripathy Sharma, Ayurvedic College Principal Dr Amulya Nidhi Padhy, Ayush Doctor’s Association secretary Rabindra Nath Gantayat, and convener Atulya Kumar Patnaik were present as guests.
A seminar on Ayurveda for prevention and control of diabetes was also held on the occasion.
