An 11-year-old girl is in a critical condition after being allegedly gangraped by unidentified youths on Tuesday in Baleswar district.
As per reports, two unidentified youths abducted the victim asking her to identify a house when she was playing with her friends.
The family members began a search as the girl didn't return home by evening. later, she was rescued in a semiconscious state from near the National Highway over-bridge nearby her village in a critical condition and admitted to the Soro Community Health Centre (CHC). The girl's medical examination was conducted on Wednesday. Police have launched a probe into the case after the victim's mother lodged a case of gangrape.
The incident occurred at Talanagar village under the Soro police limits.
