lohardaga police on Saturday arrested the accused of Munsi murder case Mangleshwar Oraon.
“Few days back Munsi Vishnu Gope, alias Balak Gope involved in road construction work had been shot dead by some culprits. In this matter police had arrested an accused Krishna Gope earlier. For the arrest of other accused a team had been set up. The team arrested the culprit Mangleshwar Oraon. He is the resident of Atka Mahua Toli Sisai Gumla,” SP Karthik S said.
According to Mangleshwar Oraon, Munsi Vishnu Gope was murdered for not giving the levy and extortion.
As many as six people accomplished the task. He also told about the arms kept beneath the land at jungle of Podha of Bhandra block.
Police recovered from there two local pistols of nine mm, three local single pistols, two empty magazines of nine mm, five bullets, 10 bullets of nine mm and three bullets of pistol.
