India's future is in digital economy: Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the digital economy is the future of India. The entire country is with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to ban currency notes. Chouhan was addressing the progamme organised by the News Channel on the occasion of completing 11 years as Chief Minister of the state.

Chouhan said that this kind of decision can only be taken by the patriotic and strong person like Prime Minister. Currency ban will stop counterfeit notes, black money and corruption.

This bold decision has been taken by the Prime Minister for better future of the country. Patriotic citizens of the country can face little difficulties and the benefit of this decision will move country ahead.

Moreover, Chouhan said that in order to increase employment opportunities, `2.83 lakh crore capital investment has been brought in the State. To make youth entrepreneurs, Mukhyamantri Yuva Udhmi yojna and Mukhyamantri Yuva Swa-Rozgar Yojna have been launched.

Under the scheme, 53,000 youths were benefited during last year. loans to 5 lakh youths will be provided under

Swa-Rozgar Yojna this year. Youths are being encouraged towards entrepreneurship. Venture capital Fund has been established to help young entrepreneurs. Also focus is being laid on farming and irrigation to make agriculture a profitable occupation.

ladli laxmi Yojna has been prepared to eliminate

discrimination with girls. Minister for Public Relations, Water resources and Parliamentary Affairs Narottam Mishra was also present in the programme.
