Haryana Government has revised the remuneration of the contractual staff engaged under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) at district, block and Gram Panchayat levels with effect from November 8.
The Account Assistant both at district and block level were initially getting `12,000 per month as remuneration, which would be raised to `13,800 per month after three years experience. Thereafter, it will be increased by `600 every year and after seven years experience, Account Assistant would get an annual increment of five per cent, said an official spokesman.
He said that the computer operator at district level was getting `10,000 per month and after three years experience, the remuneration would be enhanced to `11,500 per month. After that, it will be increased by `500 every year and after seven years experience, the Computer Operator would get an annual increment of five per cent.
The spokesman said that at block level, the Additional Block Programme Officer were initially getting remuneration of `21,000 per month which will be enhanced to `24,150 per month after three years experience. After that, it will be increased by `1,050 every year. After seven years experience, he would get an annual increment of five per cent, besides `500 per month lump sum as transportation allowance.
All contractual employees would get one Casual leave (Cl) on completion of one month and maximum 10 Cl per year and all religious gazetted holidays would usually be allowed. They would also get mobile recharge of `300 per month. The female employees would get six months maternity leave. The leave would be admissible subject to completion of minimum three months service of the current contract, he added.
He said that at Gram Panchayat (GP) level, the Gram Rozgar Sahayak would get `2,000 plus `11 per persondays generated in the cluster per month or `6,000 whichever is less.
The remaining terms and conditions for the deployment or engagement of staff issued vide memo dated May 28, 2008, would remain same to adhere, he added.
A written communication in this regard has been issued by the Commissioner MGNREGS-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development Department to all the Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Programme Coordinators, MGNREGS and Additional Deputy Commissioners-cum-Additional District Programme Coordinators, MGNREGS, in the state.
