Continuing the exercise of reshuffling in administrative set up, Haryana Government on Friday issued transfer and posting orders of seven IAS officers with immediate effect. Keshni Anand Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education and Electronics and Information Technology Departments has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments vice Dalip Singh, retiring on April 30, said an official spokesman. PK Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Departments has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, in addition to his present duties. Devender Singh, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department has been posted as Principal Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology Department, in addition to his present duties while CG Rajinikaanthan, Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment has been posted as Special Secretary, Finance Department against a vacant post
Amneet P. Kumar, Chief Executive, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board and Rippudaman Singh Dhillon, Additional Secretary, Secretariat Establishment and Finance Departments will swap their place of respective posting. Shekhar Vidyarthi, Director and Special Secretary, Welfare of Schedule Castes and Backward Classes Department, Managing Director, Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance Development Corporation and Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam has been posted as Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment, in addition to his present duties. Earlier this week, the State Government in a major administrative reshuffle had transferred 18 IAS officers
In the past two months also, a large number of IAS and IPS have been transferred following their failure to deal with the aggravated situation during Jat stir in February.
Top Police officers Yashpal Singal and Shatrujeet Singh Kapur were also transferred from their respective posts considering the utter failure of Haryana Police and its intelligence wing during the Jat stir. The Prakash Singh committee which is probing into the laxity on the part of officers and officials of both Police and Civil Administration during the Jat quota agitation is likely to submit its report by next week.
