In the past 24 hours, Bhopal has received good rainfall and recorded 5 cm of rainfall but despite of good rainfall hot and humid conditions prevailed during the day on Tuesday.
During the day on Tuesday flooded roads were witnessed creating huge traffic jams after light and heavy spells lashed the city in the afternoon and in the evening.
After the showers, clear sky was visible and remained till late in the evening.
City received rainfall during the day on Tuesday providing relief from hot and humid conditions prevailed in the morning. City temperature dipped by 2 degrees celsius after the rainfall witnessed in the day while the night temperature was recorded at 23.4 degrees celsius.
City recorded 2 cm of rainfall on Tuesday during the day with intermittent light showers and heavy showers. Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Hoshangabad divisions are likely to witness thunder showers in the next 24 hours according to the forecast by Met department. Monsoon has covered around 96 per cent of the part of the state and except Morena, Bhind and Neemuch districts.
The Met department told that the decrease in the rainfall would be witnessed as the intensity of the system has decreased. The rainfall received at several places across the state would witness less rainfall in the next 24-48 hours.
Warning of heavy rainfall in Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani, Dhar, Khargone, Balaghat, Mandla, Seoni, Chhindwara, Betul, Dindori and Narsingpur districts has been issued and heavy rainfall is likely to be witnessed in the next 24 hours.
Indore recorded day temperature at 31.8 degrees celsius, Gwalior recorded day temperature at 37.9 degrees celsius, Jabalpur recorded day temperature at 32.8 degrees celsius.
The day temperature and night temperature would be recorded at 32 degrees celsius and 23 degrees celsius respectively. Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Ujjain divisions recorded heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours.
