The Ganjam district unit of the BJP organised protest meetings against the attack of the Union Ministers at Bargarh by BJD members at various places in the district on Wednesday.
"Ruling BJD leaders and workers attacked Union Ministers, Santosh Gangwar and Sadhvi Niranjana Jyoti, and former Jharkand Chief Minister Arjuna Munda who had come for creating more developmental opportunities for thousands of weavers of the State. While Union Minister are treated as guests for States, attack on them is very shameful. We condemn the act," said district BJP leaders.
They too stated that the ruling party attacked the Minister being jealous of growing popularity of the Modi Government at the Centre and the BJP in the State.
While district president Kahnu Charan Pati led the agitation at district level, leaders like Rupesh Mohapatra, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Rajesh Sahoo, Udayanath Pradhan, Saroj Sabat, Presh Rath, Subhendu Padhi, Dharanidhar Behera, Kankeya Reddy, Magata Patra, Chaitanya Pradhan, Praeep Padhi, Sddhant Gangdeb, Suryanarayan Das and Babita Patra were observers for different blocks.
