For the first time in India, District legal Services Authority (DlSA) with the directions of Jharkhand legal Services Authority (JHAlSA) will organise a special lok Adalat for children on Friday on the premises of Juvenile Justice Board at Dumardaga in Ranchi. Officials said that all efforts will be made to dispose of maximum number of cases through this lok Adalat.
The lok Adalat will be inaugurated by Judge, High of Jharkhand Court-cum- Executive Chairman, JHAlSA, Justice DN Patel at Nyaya Sadan in Doranda and will also remain present there at Remand Home during the programme.
Districts like Ranchi, Khunti, latehar, Garhwa and Daltonganj will be covered during this Child lok Adalat. There is also a plan to organize similar lok Adalats in rest of the districts very soon.
Notices for the same have already been issued to the concerned persons in over 70 cases. Two types of cases will be taken up during the Child lok Adalat – firstly, Child in conflict with the law and secondly, Child in need of care of protection.
