The Commissionerate police on Thursday arrested a youth for allegedly impersonating as a policeman and swindling money from youths on the name of providing jobs in the police force. Priyaranjan Baral was arrested by the Khandagiri police and a Tata Sumo, a cell phone, a toy pistol gun were seized from his possession.
Commissioner of Police YB Khurania said the accused had been arrested in April for faking his identity and posing as an intelligence officer.
