A married woman found herself nowhere as both her husband and lover were reluctant to keep her with them. When the in-law’s family caught her red-handed with a youth in compromising position, they didn’t like to keep her further in the family.

At the same time, the lover’s family was also not ready to keep the lady with them for social stigma. The result: Now woman was helpless and knocked the door of the police for justice.

As per information, the woman of luhakhandi village of Katarbaga police station under Rengali block fell in love with a bachelor youth of the village, identified as Sujan Majhi. All the hell broke loose when the family members found her with the youth in a compromising position.

The family members and the important persons of the village wanted to solve the matter. But the husband and senior members of the family didn’t agree to keep the woman in their family.  Hence, the villagers asked her lover Sujan to bring her to his home and begin a new life. And, the youth had no other option than to obey the orders of the important body of the village.

But things turned ugly when Sujan reached his home with the new wife. His family members were in no mood to accept her as she was already married and had extra marital affairs.

They forcefully made her out of their home and the youth couldn’t protest the decision of the family members.

The lady, on protest, sat in the varanda of her new husband for two days. When no results came out, she reached Katarbaga police station for justice.

“Investigation is going on and necessary action will be taken,” said Katarbaga police station IIC Hrushikesh Meher.

Meanwhile, the police have conducted medical test of the woman.
