Vigilance officers on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids on the houses and properties of Executive Engineer Subodh Routray of Rural Works-II, Cuttack on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
The Vigilance officials searched Routray’s residential houses at Mundilo village in Jagatsinghpur district and at Mahanadi Vihar here, his office and his relatives’ houses at Mahanadi Vihar here.
During the search, total assets amounting to Rs 2,35,86,055 was detected in the name of Routray and his family members. Routray is in possession of a three-storey house at Mahanadi Vihar, a flat at Bipul Garden here in his wife’s name, an under-construction building in swife’s name at Niladri Vihar here, a flat at Seven Hills Projects in Puri, a BDA plot in Khatikhia and a plot in his wife’s name at Mahanadi Vihar in Cuttack. Search was on into the matter, said Vigilance officials.
