Six-month employment oriented skill development programmes for the youth from north-eastern States have been started in CRISP on Wednesday. These programmes are sponsored by Ministry of Development of North Eastern Youth, Govt. of India. Mukesh Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, CRISP, informed that candidates will be assisted in placement on completion of training programme.
Asha Nair, Programme Coordinator informed that these trainings are based on advanced technologies of ‘Industrial Automation’ and ‘Fashion Technology’. She said that these programmes are completely residential and complete loading & boarding for the trainees has been arranged by CRISP. She also informed that around 90 youth from all 7 states i.e. Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura are attending the trainings in CRISP.
