Set priorities and carry out necessary works of roads, drains, nullahs and schools immediately, instructed Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Chhavi Bhardwaj to the BMC officials concerned here on Tuesday after reviewing the works of the engineering department of the Corporation.

Bhardwaj reviewed the works of engineering department of the Corporation on Monday. She instructed the officials to repair the damaged roads immediately, besides she also instructed to promptly complete the renovation works of the schools, drains and the nullah by setting up priority of works for the convenience   of the citizens.

She took the information of the repairing works of the damaged roads from the officials concerned and directed the officials to reconstruct the fully damaged roads.

She told the BMC officials to ensure that the damaged roads which are in the period of guarantee should be reconstructed by the responsible contractors she added as per the law.

She instructed the officials to send the notice for reconstruction and or repair of those roads to the contractors. She told the officials to present the proposals for the reconstruction of the damaged roads.

She directed the officials to repair the potholes of the roads immediately. She instructed to release the tender for the repairing of the roads after rainy season.

Bhardwaj reviewed the conditions of the drains and nullah’s and instructed the officials to start the repairing works especially in the areas where water logging takes place. She asked the officials to make the proposals for the new constructions.
