Directing the Urban Development Department, Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma said that all matters related with fixation of property with municipal bodies, panchayats and scheduled areas which are pending with SDOs must be sorted out soon through video conferencing.
She said that self assessment should be advertised on wide scale so that maximum people can give tax on their property.
She authorised SUDA director Rajesh Sharma and municipal administrator Harshmangla to monitor Dhanbad and Ranchi respectively.
She directed all concerned officers to speed up making the wards and municipal bodies ODF. She insisted on getting maximum application and conduct camps at ward level.
She directed the Department to constitute sanitation committee and do ranking of the wards on the basis of their ODF endeavour.
She said that wards should be distributed among city managers and timely execution of orders sent by Department should be ensured.
She said that action will be taken on those city managers and supervisors who will not complete the target. 221 wards are targeted to be made ODF in 2016 out of which, 97 have been already done.
The CS directed to speed up house construction under Prime Minister housing scheme. The Department said that against 20,239 houses, 62 per cent applicants have been agreed and work has been started for 17 per cent.
It was told that homeless people having land should be credit linked with banks.
It was also said that under the scheme for homeless people having land, 1,662 people have been credit linked with banks against the targeted 10,725.
UDD principal Secretary Arun Kumar Singh and Director along with other officers were present in the meeting.
