The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has entrusted CRISP for skills development training of persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) under its National Action Plan.
Under this contract people with 40 per cent or more disabilities will be selected and trained in three trades viz sewing machine operator, shuttering carpenter, pick and place assembly operator.
CRISP has informed that on successful completion of the training programmes, Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) will support the students for their placement in organised sector jobs and that the Women candidates will be given preference for training.
The duration of training programme will be of six to eight weeks. The participating students will be provided free training including free lodging and boarding by
CRISP under sponsorship of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Interested candidates may contact CRISP for more information and registration.

as a society by the Indo-German Technical Cooperation Agreement.
