Minister for Commerce-Industry, Employment and Mineral Resources Rajendra Shukla inspected the construction work of new Collectorate building and other construction works at Rewa on Friday.
Shukla said that the old collectorate building should be maintained as archeological heritage. He gave directives to complete the construction works soon with quality.
Shukla directed the officials to ensure completion of the remaining construction works of new building immediately and to develop the land as lawn lying before the old collectorate. He further mentioned that the old collectorate building will be kept as archeological heritage. Both the buildings will have lawn and parking place in front of them. He also directed the officials to construct rotary at the proper place to install statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar who made the constitution of India. He also told to construct boundary wall behind the old collectorate building and around the new building and to install a grand gate at the entrance.
Shukla also inspected the under construction Rajkapoor auditorium and directed to accelerate the pace of construction. He mentioned that all the works should be completed within the time limit. Furthermore, Shri Shukla inspected the ongoing work of bridge being constructed at road connecting to Karhiya mandi.
Shukla apprised himself about the progress of airport to be constructed at Rewa and construction works related to road from PTS Chouraha to jail road. Shukla said that apart from beautification PTS square, road to Mamtamayi triangle upto Dhobia Tangi road will also be widened.
