Coal extraction to start at NTPC Barkagaon soon

There is some good news from NTPC for the denizens of both Hazaribagh and Chatra districts. Executive Director of NTPC coal mines Ravindra Singh Rathi has informed that coal excavation is expected to start soon. GM NKSTPP RK Singh has informed that headquarter has approved many developmental programmes for the area.

Addressing the newsmen and distinguished denizens at Barkagaon in a programme ED Ravindra Singh Rathi said that very soon excavation of coal will start here. All the necessary infrastructural arrangements have been made or in the last phase of completion. For transportation we are going to use conveyor belt which will be one of its kind in entire country. ED Rathi once again repeated the pledge of their organization for overall development of the area and providing basic facilities to the denizens especially those whose land has been acquired by the company.

GM NTPC coal mines AK Das and AK Sharma thanked the denizens for their support and positive response and hoped that in future too the company will enjoy their support which is necessary for the overall development of the area and state. AGM BB Mahapatra thanked the denizens and media persons for their positive approach and support.

In a felicitation program at Tandwa GM NKSTPP RK Singh informed that headquarter has approved many activities for the benefit of local denizens to be done under CSR activity in the days to come. Construction of toilet, arrangement of drinking water and drains, beautification of pond, electrification of 50 houses of Nayi Param by solar energy, construction of water tank, construction of road, to organize workshop for women empowerment, installation of 50 solar lights and RO water arrangement at Kauleshwari Temple site, electrification of 32 schools, etc. are some major ones.

GM Singh gave a good news to the locals of Tandwa that in February they are going to arrange a trip of Vindhyanchal, Rihand and Shaktinagar units of NTPC for those who had organized dharna at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, for installation of power plant here at Tandwa. On this occasion he felicitated newly elected District Board Member Anita Devi. Cricket kits were given to all the participant teams in NTPC cricket tournament.
