CM launches schemes worth Rs432 cr online in Santhal region

laying foundation stones and inaugurating various schemes worth Rs432 crore  including Pandit Dindayal Upadhayay Gram Jyoti Yojana under the 12th scheme online in a programme at littipara stadium of Pakur district, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the Government will never compromise with corruption. He said that consumers in villages will be given free electricity connection under Atal Gram Jyoti Yojana and Tilka Manjhi Gramin Krishi Pump Yojana. He also initiated afforestation drive at littipara.

He said that corruption will be reined at every cost and appealed to people to call at 181 to register a complaint or suggest something. Das said that under the 12th scheme of Pandit Dindayal Upadhayay Gram Jyoti Yojana of the Union Govt, 1158 villages including 2380 parishes will be completely electrified. A total number of 3,64,500 consumers will be given free electric connection. Apart from this, a total number of 3,03,750 middle and frontier peasants of the villages selected by the MlAs will be given free electric connection under Tilka Manjhi Gramin Krishi Pump Yojana.

Giving the present people oath to greenery, the CM appealed to them to plant trees at the birth of a child and tend it carefully. He summoned people to plant trees on their land under Jan Van Yojana. He said that Yoga classes of 15 minutes will be conducted in schools.

Prior to it, the CM participated in the State level Schedule Tribe Conference and said that Tribal Development Agency has been constituted and schedule tribes will also be kept in the authority. He said that 17 thousand teachers have been appointed in the state and 18,000 will be appointed soon. He called this  year the year of appointments.

Welfare Minister louis Marandi, Health Minister Ram Chandra Chandravanshi, officers of district administration and people in big number were present in the programme.
