Governor Om Prakash Kohli and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, his cabinet colleagues and other leaders of the State have extended Diwali greetings to the people.
Governor Kohli extended greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Diwali. Kohli said that Diwali is a festival of nobility, truth and karma. This festival gives us a lesson of harmony and inspires us to move forward towards radiance from darkness.
Kohli appealed to the people to celebrate Diwali with unity and harmony. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people.
Chief Minister Chouhan has extended greetings to the people of the state on the pious occasion of Diwali. Chouhan in his message said that festival of lights ‘Deepawali’ is an ensign festival of Indian Culture. Tradition of religious harmony is prospering day by day in the State. Praying for the happiness and prosperity of the people, Chouhan said that the state is progressing continuously. Prosperity is expanding in every field. He further said that people should cooperate with each other and celebrate Diwali with gaiety and fervor. Spread light of development and be happy and healthy.
Water Resources, Public Relations, Parliamentary Affairs minister Narottam Mishra has extended greetings and best wishes to people of the state on Diwali. He said that Diwali is a grand Indian festival giving message of unity, brotherhood and prosperity. He wished for prosperity and happiness of state's farmers. He prayed Almighty for progress and prosperity of common people and poor.
Mineral Resources, Commerce, Industry and Employment Minister Rajendra Shukla extended hearty greetings and good wishes to the people of the state on the occasion. He called upon the people to celebrate the Festival of lights with traditional fervor and gaiety and urged the people to light a name for prosperity of the state.
