Chief Minister Raghubar Das during ‘Seedhi Baat’ programme directed officials to ensure that Mukhia Patis (husbands) do not enter Panchayat Bhawans and if they still they do it, issue show cause notices against the Mukhias. The CM was reacting on the complaint lodged by Niranjan Kumar of Jamua in Palamu on Tuesday where the complainant stated that the husband of Mukhia Anita Devi has been getting works done on the basis of fake signatures.
“Do not let any Mukhia Pati enter into Panchayat Bhawans….. and, if they still do it, issue show cause notices against such Mukhias,” said the CM.
The Chief Minister also ordered to pay Rs 1 lakh to Bharti Pramanik from Saraikela-Kharsawan who had complained against the government officials for keeping their articles on Pramamik’s land because of which he had to face lot of problems. The officials also told Das that Pramanik’s land will be vacated soon.
later, Das also congratulated top officials of Dumka for the raid conducted in the hostels of SP College and also directed them to investigate the case strictly and keep a curb on the anti-social elements so that common people do not have to face problems.
He was reacting while haring the complaint lodged by 80 years old Rohit Ghosh of Dumka who was not getting old age pension. The officials told CM that the problem arose as Ghosh did not have ADHAAR number and ensured that the matter will be sorted out soon within seven days.
While hearing another matter related to arbitrary collection from the consumers by Devshikha Enterprises of Chauparan in Hazaribagh, the CM asked Principal Secretary Food, Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs to ensure that due action is taken against the said agency. He also directed Hazaribagh DC to issue show cause notice to the SDO why he did not take action against it. The CM also directed the Chief Secretary to look into the matter personally and submit a report by December 5 about the action taken in this regard.
Hearing another complaint lodged by Gulam Mustafa of Barihi in Hazaribagh that Rs 2000 was being collected as brokerage in the name of providing gas connection to BPl cardholders, the Chief Minister directed the DC to launch an awareness campaign in his district that the State Government has already taken a pledge to provide free gas connection to them. “People need not get trapped by brokers for getting gas connection,” said the CM.
