To spread awareness regarding pollution and to encourage people to use the public transport, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), Bhopal City link limited (BCll), traffic police and Vihaan International Festival of Arts (VIFA) would jointly organize ‘climate walk’ on Sunday. The climate walk would be initiated from boat club by 8 am and would culminate at the TT Nagar Stadium of the city.
The climate walk would be organised to encourage people to use the public transport more instead of using their personal vehicles so that the pollution could be reduced. BMC would also spread awareness among the youths during the climate walk regarding the cleanliness campaign in order to make Bhopal number 1 in the upcoming cleanliness survey.
BMC and BCll have appealed the people of the city to take part in the climate walk and make it successful.
