The installation ceremony of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage for the year 2016-17 was held here on Friday with grandeur. Dr Suvendu Das took over the charge of the president.
Brigadier lC Patnaik, who was present as chief guest, acclaimed the role of the Rotarians as they are playing a significant role in the arena of social service locally and as well as at national and international levels.
Chartered in the year 2009, the club has done yeoman service to the society through various programmes, including planting of more than 20,000 saplings and collecting over 10,000 units blood through blood donation camps, etc.
