The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday conducted searches at seven residential premises of suspects in Bhopal in an on-going investigation of Vyapam-related cases pertaining to Transport Constable Recruitment Examination 2012 and the Pre-Medical Test 2012.
The retired persons had acted as Supervisors in Vyapam for the said examinations and had allegedly played a role in tampering of the OMR sheets of some candidates who were fraudulently made to pass the said two examinations.
Searches have also been conducted at the premises of a candidate in the Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2012 at Jawra, district Morena (Madhya Pradesh). Incriminating documents recovered during searches are being scrutinised for further investigation.
