A minor boy of Sundargarh was arrested by Bisra police here on Tuesday allegedly for trafficking 11 cattle heads to Jharkhand.
Acting on a tipoff about trafficking of cattle on Tuesday morning, a police team of Bisra intercepted a pick-up van at Diesel Square and found 11 cattle heads inside the van. During interrogation, it was known that the cattle heads were being transported from Khatrubhal in Sundargarh district to Jharkhand. The driver of the van, a minor, who is a resident of Khaturbahal, was arrested. He was sent to a juvenile home. The cattle would be handed over to Goshala at Vedvyas.
