Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anil Madhav Dave would file his nomination for the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
Dave would reach the BJP state office at 10 am on Tuesday where he would first pay floral tributes to the statue of Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya and after that he would leave for Madhya Pradesh assembly with chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, state organizational general secretary Suhas Bhagat and other senior leaders of the state to file his nomination for the upper house of parliament.
BJP national vice president and Madhya Pradesh organizational in-charge Vinay Sahasrabuddhe in a statement here on Monday said that the central leadership by nominating Dave for the Rajya Sabha shouldered important responsibility to a diligent leader and expressed gratitude towards the central leadership for sending Dave to the upper house.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressing joy over the announcement of Dave’s name for the Rajya Sabha said that the central leadership by making him candidate increased the pride of the state and expressed gratitude towards the central leadership of the party for the same.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar lauding Dave’s devotion towards the party said that my making him candidate the party has done Madhya Pradesh proud.
Nandkumar Singh Chouhan said that Dave besides being an efficient organizer is also an senior ideologue and the state would definitely get benefitted by his nomination.
Suhas Bhagat said that the central leadership has increased the pride of state by making Dave Rajya Sabha candidate from the State.
