AMV Yugandhar, Executive Director of BHEl, Bhopal on Saturday chaired Central Safety Committee Meeting wherein issues like Overhead Crane maintenance, Sling Inspection, Accident statistics, Fire Safety Measures, Electrical safety etc.

Yugandhar on this occasion presented awards to the winners of first Quarterly Safety Award Scheme also. The awards were presented in Production and Services categories. Besides, winners of Environment awareness competition were also presented awards.

AK Kiyawat, Secretary, Central Safety Committee and AGM (HSE) briefed about safety inspections, meetings etc. organised in Shop Floors. Mukesh Shrivastav, Sr DGM conducted the programme.

Meanwhile, BHEl, Bhopal on Saturday observed Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel as National Integration Day. AMV Yugandhar on this occasion administered Pledge on National Integration to all GMs, DROs and senior Officials. In his address, Yugandhar said that it is our prime duty to maintain internal security and unity of the nation. later, programmes on national Integration were observed in Blocks and offices of the factory.

later, TG Chouragade GM (WE&CS, MOD) inaugurated a temporary Waste Disposal Area measuring about 5000 sqm near Gate no; 9 for disposal of non – saleable and non-hazardous waste. AK Kiyawat, AGM (HSE), BK Singh, AGM (FCX), Rajeev Sarna, AGM (CMX), Mukesh Shrivastav ,Sr DGM, SC Pare DGM (FCX) , Bharti, Deputy Commandant, CISF , Tolen Singh, Kaushalendra; all from CISF were also present on this occasion. Chauragade said how this disposal area would benefit in day today work and maintenance of waste.
