Bank of Baroda bags awards in four categories

Bank of Baroda — one of the leading public sector banks of India has bagged prizes in four categories under ‘All India RBI Rajbhasha Shield Competition’ for 2014-15 organized by Reserve Bank of India for public sector banks and financial institutions.

According to the official information, the Bank has been awarded Second prize under linguistic Region ‘A’&‘B’ and consolation prize under ‘C’ Region in the competition. The Bank has also received award under Bilingual House Journal category for its House Journal ‘BOBMAITRI’.

These awards were received by the Bank’s Executive Director Mayank K. Mehta, General Manager Ravi Kumar Arora and Deputy General Manager (Official language) Dr Jawahar Karnavat at the hands of Dr Raghuram G Rajan, the Governor of Reserve Bank of India.

The Deputy Governor of RBI S.S. Mundra, Anoop Kumar Srivastav, Secretary, Department of Official language, Union Ministry of Home Affairs and top executives of Bank of Baroda also graced the occasion.
