The annual sports day of Ursuline Primary Teachers’ training college organised. It was inaugurated by DSP Ashish Kumar Mahli by flag hosting.
The trainee students performed March past as well as they took oath to follow al the norms and discipline of games. College principal Dr Sr Vandana said, “The College has acquired its status in the field of games and sports as well as education. It has always been ahead in each field.”
The chief guest DSP Ashish Mahli said, “The trainee teachers should give contribution in the development of education. Education and sports are very important in development of a person in his life.”
In sports, the trainee were distributed in several groups. The first rank was got by Shosan group, second by Suryamukhi group, third by Gulab group and fourth rank was bagged by Champa group. Before it, the students demonstrated spell bounding parade, fancy dress competition, relay race, memory race, hurdle race, javelin throw and many other competitions. Other than DSP Mahli, Kishor Verma, CP Bhagat, Sr Manjela, Sr Deepika, Sr Scholastica, Sr Cecilia,Gyan Prakash, Miss Neelam Rani many citizens, parents, teachers and trainee teachers were present. The token of thanks was offered by Dr Sr Vandana.
