The State unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) took out a spectacular Tricolour protest march from the Mausi Maa Temple to the Shreemandir here on Sunday and demanded exemplary punishment to those who had raised slogans against the country at the JNU campus.
The march, led by ABVP’s Puri secretary Basudev Senapaty, demanded exemplary punishment to the “anti-Indian” elements involved in the incident.
ABVP members said the antinational elements, who had raised slogans against India in the JNU campus, was posing a threat to the integrity and unity of the country.
They also demanded strong action against the JNU students who had allegedly shouted ‘anti-India’ slogans.
ABVP State vice-president Smruti Ranjan Biswal, State assistant-secretary Ommkar Parida, Parthjit Prusty, Rabinarayan Patra, Biswajit Patnaik, Biswanath Patnaik and Abhisekh Routray were present, among others.
