Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Saturday declared the results of Madhyama (Sanskrit) and Vocational examination conducted in April 2016. In Madhyama 99.41 per cent students were declared successful.
As many as 4,967 students took the examination where 2,714 students’ clichéd first position while 2116 students were placed in second position. Notably, in 2014, 98.83 per cent candidates were declared successful and in 2015, 99.64 per cent students passed the Madhyama examinations.
Similarly, in the Intermediate vocational examination 88.56 per cent students were declared successful this year. Approximately, 1,154 students took the examination in April from different examination centres across the State.
However, the result this year has registered a decline in comparison to 2014 and 2015 results. In 2014, 91.93 per cent students were declared successful whereas in 2015, 91.14 per cent students grabbed descent position in examination.
Yet, expressing happiness over the result, JAC Chairperson, Arvind Prasad Singh, said, “Both intermediate vocational examination results and Madhyama results are satisfactory.
Though decline has been registered in vocational result which needs to be improved yet the children have performed well in examination even in limited resources.
It is mandatory to ensure quality teaching for better outcome. Upgradation of classes with sufficient equipments, advancement of syllabus at regular interval besides ensuring quality faculty members at schools is must to improve and strengthen the state board results.”
