                BJP chief meets Munda

Newly appointed BJP State president laxman Gilua on his arrival at Ranchi met former Chief Minister and BJP senior leader Arjun Munda at his residence. The leaders exchanged pleasantries with each other. later Gilua hold a meeting with party leaders at BJP office.

 

Banks to complete Aadhaar seeding soon

Chief Secretary, Rajbala Verma has directed all the banks to complete Aadhar Seeding work by September 15. Directing the bank officials she said that all accounts under social security, Jeevan Jyoti Bima, MGNREGA and PMJDY should be connected with Aadhar Seeding cent percent. She said to speed up seeding work in order to implement schemes of center and state. A special work plan should be made to implement the project.

 

‘Vatsalyam' Celebration at SBPS

Grandparent’s ‘Vatsalyam’ Day was solemnized with great pomp and show at Sarala Birla Public School (SBPS). Nand Kumar Yadav Vice Chancellor, Central University was present as the chief guest who graced the occasion with his presence and thoughtful words. Several colourful activities presented by the students mesmerized the audiences.

 

JEPC organises seminar

Jharkhand Education Project Council organised a seminar at Collectorate to highlight the role of panchayat raj committees to enhance the education system. Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar, School Education and literacy Secretary Aradhana Patnaik including other dignitaries addressed the gathering on issues covering RTE, Swacch Bharat and other schemes of the state government.

 

RTE fair to guide SMC

Right to Education (RTE) fair will be organized from September 2 to September 28 in all the 24 districts covering blocks and panchayats. With the theme ‘My Right, My Pride resource personnel will be guided on various facets of RTE Act 2009.

 

AguaClara llC bags Environmental Prize

AguaClara llC, a US-based sustainable water treatment company that has worked in villages of Jharkhand, was awarded second place in the RElX Group Environmental Challenge at World Water Week in Sweden. The prize is awarded to organizations working to advance sustainable access to safe water or improved sanitation around the world.

 

NFDC to provide technical aid

National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) will support the Jharkhand government in the area of film making and will also provide technical assistance. IPRD, Director, AK Pandey on Tuesday conducted a meeting with the officials of NFDC. Officials have assured to lend support to Jharkhand in making it a film hub.

 

Jharcraft employees on strike

Due to the laid back attitude of management and officials of Jharcraft, approximately 186 employees including designers of Jharcraft, Ranchi Centre went on strike on Tuesday. Employees are complaining that they have not been paid for last three months and the management is not competent enough to deal with the problem lingering since 2014.

 

Railway organises camp

A special camp of Railways was organized at Saint Michael Blind School at Bahu Bazaar in Ranchi for making concession card for the blind so that they do not have to go to run around Hatia Rail Division office. Concession cards of at least 100 children were made during the camp on Tuesday.
