MAn hacked his mother to death
Seoni: A 45-year-old man hacked his mother to death over a trival reason at Patan village in the district. The incident took place yesterday, police said.
Sunia Bai (65), the victim, asked her son Viapatlal Gond (45) to serve her food, but he refused. This led to a heated exchange between the two. In the heat of the moment, Viapatlal, who was drunk, hacked his mother to death, said Chunamani Shukla, in-charge of Kindrai police station. The woman died on the spot. Viapatlal's wife and daughter were not home at the time of the incident. Neighbours heard the old woman's screams and rushed to the house. They informed the police about the murder who arrested Vipatlal from the spot.
He was produced in a court in lakhnadoun today which remanded him in judicial custody. Police have registered a case of murder against him.

Bhopal: Taking cognisance on the regular absenteism from the office Secretary State Election Commission Sunita Tripathi dismissed Shree Komalchand Panthi from the post of Assistant grade -2, here on Saturday. Despite notices served to Panthi, he failed to appear in the office.
show-cause notice to water resource dept officials
Bhopal: Commissioner of Chambal Division Shree Shivanand Dubey issued a show-cause notice to three officials of water resource department inclulding Sub Divisional Officer (SDO), here on Saturday in case of damage of Barda dam in Sheopur Distt. Due to damage of Barda dam in Nainipura on July 16 in Vijaypura area crops in Benipura, Aaroda and other villages were affected.
Commissioner has issued show cause notice to SDO Girish Kumar, Junior engineer Dinesh Kumar Gupta and in-charge Amin Kedarlal Sharma. Commissioner served this notice on the basis of report filed by the Sheopur collector.
Commissioner has sought reply from these officials asking them that why not salary increment should be stopped for next two years on ground of negligence in the services.

83rd Free Urology camp is organized by Jai Shiv Shakti Health and Educational Foundation on the motivation of Jeev Sewa Sansthan. On the occasion Sudha Maheshwari, Finance Manager Vinod Adwani, Secretary of Jeev Sewa Sansthan Shri Mahesh Dayaramani, Trustee of Sewa Sadan lC Janiyani, Quality Manager Bharat Chawla and other senior officials of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital were also present on the occasion.
On the second day Urology surgeons have performed 42 surgeries in the camp. Out of 150 admitted patients as many as 80 operations have so far been done by the surgeons within 2 days. Surgery will be performed upto August 1st 2016.

Also to protect dust accumulations in Slitting M/c and Cropping M/c, a partition of full height of Block with Galvalume sheet has been prepared.

Bhopal: Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organised a Painting Competition on International Tiger Conservation Day on July 29 in collaboration with Centre For Environmental Education (CEE), Madhya Pradesh at Biodiversity Interpretation Centre, Matkuli, Hoshangabad Madhya Pradesh. As many as 72 students from various schools of Hoshangabad District participated in the painting competition. Beenish Rafat, Scientist-B, RMNH, Bhopal distributed the prize to all winners. Mahima Thakur from Govt Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi won the first prize (`3000). Master Shivraj Singh Thakur from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi and Niketa Nagvanshi from Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi respectively won the second and third prize (`2000 and `1000). Similarly, Hemankush Uikey from Arivnd Kumar – Nitin Kumar English School, Pachmari, Geeta Dhurve from Govt Boys Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi, Master Pradeep Kumar Vishavkarma from Govt Boys Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi, Master Prabhat Jawariya from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi, Master Akash Ahirwar from Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Pachmarhi won the consolation prizes (`500 each).
